Everest base camp trekking is without doubt one of the most renowned travel destination in the world. For adventure travellers an exciting opportunity to be at the foot of world’s highest mountain – Mount Everest. Indeed Mount Everest Base Camp (5380m) has been popular trekking destination since the trail first successful expeditions of Mount Everest Summit (8848 meter) on May 29th, 1953 by Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa. The Everest base camp trekking reveals some of the most breath- taking scenery of the Himalayan region.


Everest base camp trekking begins half an hour spectacular adventures mountain flight to Lukla on the next day of your arrival in Kathmandu airport. On the first of trekking the foot trail follows Dudh Kosi River. Then following day it crosses forests of rhododendron and magnolia, villages and monasteries. On the second day you reach at Namche Bazaar, a bustling bazaar, that’s a junction for trekkers. The Namche bazaar is the spectacular place to rest and shopping the village has two museums, several internet cafes, pizza houses, three cafes (locally known as bakeries).


The Namche bazaar is getaway of the Everest base camp trekking. From here you will trek along a high traversing path and reach at Tyangboche, an old Buddhist monastery located on a ridge top in the Tengboche at 3,867m in Khumjung village community. This monastery is also known as Dawa Choling Gompa. Then following days you will be at Dingboche, Lobuche and  Gorakhashep. Form Gorak Shep you will visit the Everest Base Camp and ascend to the black rocks called Kala Patthar (5555m). After visiting the major target place Mount Everest base camp at the foot of the Khumbu ice fall then you will trek back to the Lukla airport following the same previous route with spending few days overnight at different places. The views are much better after the summer monsoons have cleared the atmosphere. Also can enjoy to visit Everest base camp in spring and winter season.




Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu International airport. Transfer to hotel. Orientation of the overall trip. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2810m). Trek to Phakding (2652m). 3h walking. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446 m). 5h walking. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 04: Rest in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization or Excursion Namche Bazaar and Syangboche(3880m). Back to Namche Bazaar. 6h walking. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche(3867 m). 6h walking. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 06: Tengboche to Dingboche(4350m). 7h walking. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 07: Rest in Dingboche for acclimatization or day hike to the Chukum(4730m). 9h walking. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 08: Dingboche to Lobuche(4930 m). 5h walking. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 09: Lobuche to Gorkhashep(5140m). Trek to Everest base camp (5364m). Return to Gorakhashep. 9h walking. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 10: Gorkha Shep to Kalapatter(5545m). Trek to Pheruche (4240 m).10h walking. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 11: Pheruche to Kyangjuma(3600m) via Tengboche. 8h walking. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 12: Kyangjuma to Monjo(2835m) via Namche Bazzar. 6h walking. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 13: Monjo to Lukla. 4h walking. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 14: Fly Lukla to Kathmandu. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 15: Transfer to the Kathmandu International airport for final departure.

Note: The Lukla airport is surrounding by High Mountains range so that the weather is does not stable and it change frequently. The Kathmandu to Lukla flight is possible to be delayed for a few hours or even cancelled for a day or more. It is very rarely but it could happen even in the best trekking season. We will request you to allocate extra days in Kathmandu before your departure.
